Lisa D’Souza joined FOX31 and Colorado’s Own Channel 2 as a reporter in February 2019. She is thrilled to call the Mile High City home.
Before moving to Colorado, Lisa worked as a reporter in Kansas City for four years. She also spent time reporting in Lawrence, Kansas and Westchester County, New York.
Lisa is passionate about the power of journalism and her favorite stories to tell are those that empower people to improve their communities.
While in New York, Lisa reported on protests in Times Square during the 2014 Gaza-Israel conflict. Lisa also has a strong interest in city and state politics, and she has sat down for exclusive interviews with key leaders in both New York and Kansas. During the 2012 presidential election, her reporting gained national attention by PBS’ Washington Week.
Midwest raised, Lisa hails from Wichita, Kansas. She is a diehard Jayhawk, graduating from the University of Kansas. While attending KU, Lisa spent her summers interning at Viacom, learning all she could about the future of journalism.
In her free time, Lisa loves the outdoors; she is a novice climber, and enjoys skiing, hiking and camping with her three-year-old Labrador, Larry.
