Kristen Chapman joined the FOX31 and Daybreak team in June 2022.
Waking up dark and early is her specialty, and as such, you can find her reporting with the “way too early” morning crew.
Originally born in California, Kristen now considers the Mile High City home. She graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder (go Buffs!) where she received her bachelor of science in journalism and discovered her love for broadcast news.
Before arriving in Denver, she lived all over the country following her career. She spent time in Cincinnati, Tyler, Texas and West Palm Beach, Florida covering stories ranging from hurricanes and contentious political races, to viral sensations and the worldwide coronavirus pandemic.
When Kristen’s not at work, she is spending time with her husband Mark, and their dog, Pocket.
