Jenna Middaugh

Jenna Middaugh joined Great Day Colorado in September 2021 as a producer and reporter.

When she’s not on air sharing stories about all the great things happening around our beautiful state, Jenna is working behind the scenes — making sure everything you see on air is running smoothly.

Jenna comes to KWGN from KKTV 11 News in Colorado Springs where she worked as a reporter, anchor and producer. Jenna focused on consumer stories and wrote a weekly ‘Voice of the Consumer’ column for the local newspaper, The Gazette.

During her time at KKTV, Jenna also co-produced an hour-long documentary on the impact of COVID-19 on the hospital systems and people living in southern Colorado. Her efforts earned her a regional Edward R. Murrow award for Best Documentary.

Before moving to Colorado, Jenna worked for WISC-TV in Madison, Wisconsin, as the Rock County Reporter, based in Janesville. There, she covered everything from snow and ice storms to Badger football and basketball games. Jenna even had the opportunity to travel to Miami with the Wisconsin football team where they won the Orange Bowl.

Jenna’s love of journalism started in high school and flourished while attending the University of Missouri, where she worked as a reporter, anchor and producer for the university-owned NBC-affiliate KOMU 8 News. It was in college that she also met her husband, Nick.

Away from the station, Jenna enjoys spending time with her dog, Ollie, and frequenting the library to check out more books than she has time to read.
