Carly Moore

Carly Moore joined FOX31 and Colorado’s Own Channel 2 as a reporter in April 2021. She is a Colorado Girl through and through.

Carly’s career in news started right here at FOX31/Channel 2 when she was a news reporter intern in 2014.  Then, Carly worked for KDVR.com as a web producer and learned the ropes of the industry. After she scored an on-air job, she moved to Grand Junction to work for KKCO/KJCT.  Just as she was getting used to the mountains being in the East, she took a job working for KXRM in Colorado Springs/Pueblo. There, Carly was the weekend evening anchor and reporter/multi-media journalist for four years.  Carly was thrilled to rejoin the FOX31/Channel 2 team once again as a reporter/MMJ.

She won a regional Edward R. Murrow award in 2021 for Excellence in Writing. Carly won the Southern Colorado Press Club’s Excellence in Media Radio/TV Broadcasting award in 2019.  Carly received a Certificate of Merit from the Colorado Broadcasters Association for Best Hard News, Spot News Report Within 24 Hours in 2017.

Carly loves immersing herself in the community and telling stories that drive change. She spends a lot of time sharing her passion and speaking to groups of students about careers in media.

Carly grew up in Pueblo and then went to the University of Denver for a degree in Journalism. During her time in college, she studied abroad in Spain and participated in an extended studies program on the U.S.-Mexico Border.

When Carly is not on the news, you’ll find her hiking, skiing, volunteering, biking, mountain biking and taking her pup Penny to park.
