A sit-down with Ken Clark:
What has been your most memorable story?
Over the course of my career in Denver, I would say the JonBenet case has been the most interesting. I was working in Denver at a talk radio station when it happened, truly a Colorado mystery.
If you could interview anyone – dead or alive – who would it be?
I would love to sit down and interview over lunch three people, Whoopi Goldberg, Robin Williams and Billy Crystal. All classic comics with wit to spare, to be around all three at once and watch how they play off each other it truly be a once in a lifetime event. I imagine most of it would not be suitable for a family show.
What is the best thing about being a journalist?
The best thing about working in this profession is the adrenaline rush of the news business. There is always something happening and each day brings on new challenges.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I can play a little piano.
What is one thing no one would ever guess about you?
I think one thing that you would not expect about me would be the fact that I like to sketch. I have a book that I take on each vacation and I take one picture and sketch it in the book, like a travel journal. There are several Mexico pictures because that is one of my favorite places to visit.
