DENVER — Denver police are investigating an auto/pedestrian accident that happened at West Tenth Avenue and North Newton Street.
Police say that the pedestrian was crossing in the middle of the street, and the driver was reportedly going the speed limit when the crash occurred.
An adult male was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries following the crash. The victim was in surgery Tuesday night, according to police.
The driver of the vehicle did not remain on scene.
