DENVER — Officers with the Denver Police Department investigated a suspicious package at the Denver Sheriff Department just south of downtown Tuesday evening.
DPD posted about the incident via Twitter shortly before 7 p.m.
About 8:35 p.m., police said the situation was resolved and no threat existed.
West 14th Avenue and Elati Street were closed in the Civic Center area for the investigation.
