DENVER — The two young boys that were reported missing on Tuesday morning were found safe by police in the metro area, the Denver Police Department said on Wednesday.

A search for the two boys, ages 12 and 10, started Tuesday after they were last seen leaving their home at 29th Avenue and Hayward Place about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to police.

Police tweeted that they located the boys around 7:50 a.m. on Wednesday.
