DENVER — Interstate 70 between Airpark Road in east Aurora and the Kansas border reopened on Thursday morning after being closed for adverse road conditions, the Colorado State Patrol said.
The Colorado Department of Transportation closed the interstate in both directions between Airpark Road and the Kansas border about 10 p.m. Wednesday.
Westbound lanes reopened about 7 a.m. and eastbound traffic was allowed about 8 a.m.
Interstate 76 was also closed in both directions between Lochbuie and the Nebraska border.
