DENVER — An employee at the Denver Zoo was bitten by a grizzly bear Friday afternoon.

According to the zoo, the staff member bitten is a bear keeper. He was bitten in the finger around 4:15 p.m.

Around 6:15 p.m., a Denver Health Medical Center spokesperson said the bear keeper is at the hospital and is in good condition.
