CENTENNIAL, Colo. — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on South Colorado Boulevard in Centennial Thursday afternoon.
Just before 4 p.m., the motorcycle collided with a GMC Canyon pickup truck near Colorado’s intersection with East Geddes Avenue at the entrance to The Knolls subdivision.
The 36-year-old man riding the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said Colorado was closed between East Dry Creek Road and East Easter Drive for more than three hours while deputies investigated.
Authorities did not disclose information regarding the circumstances that lead to the crash.
