DENVER — A person was hit by a light rail train near the Colfax at Auraria Station on Sunday evening, the Denver Fire Department said.
The person was transported to an area hospital, but their condition of the victim is unknown, the Denver Police Department said.
RTD’s H Line was stopped at the station while police investigated.
West Ninth Street was also closed in the area, according to police. All trains were moving again on their normal routes about 8:30 p.m., RTD said.
