BOULDER, Colo. — For the past four years, University of Colorado coach Mike MacIntyre has endured the exhaustion of rebuilding a once dominant football program.

The ugly losses. The criticism. And that was just football.

Now as CU prepares for its first Pac-12 Conference title game, there are some bittersweet moments for MacIntyre, who said goodbye to his mentor, and father just 11 months ago.
