DENVER — A group of motorcyclists took over Denver roads on Sunday.

It was part of “Kill Da Streetz,” an event motorcyclists say is meant to honor riders killed on the road.

The group traveled around the metro area causing delays, police said, even shutting down Interstate 25 for a short period of time.

The group blocked I-25 near University Boulevard, causing traffic to back up while the group did tricks in the middle of the interstate.

The Denver Police Department said doing stunts and wheelies on the interstate could fall into careless or reckless driving.
