DENVER — The search is on for a man wanted in four recent bank robberies in  Denver, the Denver Police Department said.

Police say Shawn Scott is the suspect. They say he might be frequenting downtown Denver, the Auraria Campus area, and up and down Speer Boulevard.

Investigators say surveillance photos show him wearing a wig, sunglasses and baseball cap during the robberies.

Police believe he committed robberies at the U.S. Bank at 1248 S. Broadway on May 25, at the Key Bank at 2776 Speer Blvd. on June 14, at the U.S. Bank at 3400 W. 38th Ave. on June 20 and at the Vectra Bank at 401 E. Speer Blvd. on June 29.
