DENVER — A powerful thunderstorm blasted across the metro Denver area on Tuesday night, bringing heavy rain, hail, strong wind and lightning.

Streets flooded and tree branches fell as the storm blew through the area.

The weather delayed the Rockies game at Coors Field by nearly three hours after the field was covered with hail.

Giana Gargaro Benson shared video of the storm on the FOX31 Denver Facebook page.

The cloudburst caused street flooding in Denver as well.
