MONTE VISTA, Colo. — The second annual Dirt Drags at the Movie Manor motel and drive-in brought people together from as far away as New Jersey, and Vancouver, British Columbia Monte Vista, Colorado to experience drag racing the way it was more than half century ago.
The three-day festival of speed, exhaust and dust featured food, live music, drive-in movies, all kinds of hot rods, dragsters and hop ups heading down the old dirt strip. Here’s a look at the people and sights that made this event a huge success.
