DENVER — So, you’re heading to Denver International Airport and want to get there fast. Should you take the new “train to the plane,” drive yourself or use Uber?
FOX31 Denver took a speed test Friday as the new A Line from Union Station to DIA debuted.
Train to the plane
RTD touts the trip as taking 37 minutes, and that’s how long it took Friday. That includes all stops along the way. There are eight, including Union Station and the airport.
Uber to DIA
Using an Uber trip from Union Station to DIA at the same time early Friday morning took 26 minutes. However, the Uber trip cost $43.94. A ticket on the “train to the plane” costs $9.
