BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — A cement truck crashed and forced the closure of Highway 7 in South St. Vrain Canyon in Boulder County on Thursday afternoon.

The cement truck rolled over in the Riverside area at about mile marker 28. Emergency crews worked for some time to rescue one person from the wreckage.

They removed him from the smashed truck and a medical helicopter took off to take him to a hospital at about 3:30 p.m.
