DENVER — Just as fast as tickets went on sale for the AFC Championship Game, they sold out. So if you want tickets to the game, you have to buy resale and it won’t be cheap.
As of Monday night, the average ticket price was more than $800. One local ticket broker said it could be the most expensive resale ticket market for any Broncos game ever.
“I think that’s a good line, yes,” Candy Lewis of A Lewis Tickets said. “Especially because of the matchup.”
Lewis’ phones are ringing off the hook and prices are going through the roof.
“What’s going to push this market and determine the prices is how much inventory is out there,” Lewis said.
There are plenty of tickets available on resale sites. Official sites like StubHub and NFL Ticket Exchange have upper-level tickets listed on average for $300 to $500.
Third level end zone and upper-south stands average $500 to $1,000. And lower level between the end zone averages $800 to $3,000.
