DENVER — Clerks are scanning and sorting out all of the packages and mail, then they’ll load it all onto the trucks and be off to their delivery sites.
More than 2 million pieces of mail will be delivered in the Denver Metro Area on Monday, including more than 100,000 packages.
You will want to be alert because this is a day that thieves will likely target door steps.
To make sure your package is safe, you can track it online.
You can also go online and leave specific instructions for the carrier. Let them know where to leave the package.
If you’re not home, you can request that it be delivered to a neighbor’s home or that it be held at the post office, so you can pick it up later.
For those last minute shoppers and shippers, if you want your package to make it by Christmas your very last day to ship is Wednesday via Priority Express Mail.
