DENVER — Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib has given his first statements after being given a one-game suspension.
The NFL handed down the punishment in response to Talib poking Colts tight end Dwayne Allen in the eye during the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game.
The Broncos tweeted the following quotes from Talib on Monday afternoon.
#Talib: "It was not intentional. I should have never went over there in the first place."
