GREELEY, Colo. — A grass fire in Greeley burned for several hours Sunday afternoon. It started about 12:45 p.m. near East 16th Street and Balsam Avenue.
Deputies from the Weld County Sheriff’s Office dclose both lanes of 16th Street as well as Balsam Avenue near 18th Street.
Several structures were damaged during the fire, including a barn, a wood pile and some siding on nearby houses. No houses caught fire, the sheriff’s office said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
