ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — It’s Raiders week for the Denver Broncos and their fans. The 4-0 Broncos travel to Oakland to play the 2-2 Raiders on Sunday.
Denver has won seven straight against the Raiders.
“I haven’t been there in a couple of years, but I always know what the rivalry has been about. It’s a great place to play,” Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said. There’s always elevated energy for the Broncos when they play a division rival, especially on the road.
“This is definitely a rivalry game. I think all of your division games are,” quarterback Peyton Manning said.
But who is Denver’s biggest rival?
“I don’t know, it sounds like a good fan poll question, probably,” Manning answered.
It will be a homecoming for safety T.J. Ward, who is from the Bay Area. He’s also the reigning AFC Defensive Player of the Week.
C.J. Anderson is also from Northern California. The running back is interested in getting his own game back on track.
“I want to go out there and play my best ball every time on every play,” he said.
