DENVER — The national nightmare is over. Facebook is back. On Monday, Facebook was down for millions of users across the world.

The outage was first reported around 1:03 p.m. MDT as most users attempting to load the social networking website were getting error messages.

It was the second time the site has been down in a week. The social media site started coming back online around 1:45 p.m.

With the site down, several people took to Twitter using the hashtag #facebookdown.
