AURORA, Colo. — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car on South Parker Road on Saturday afternoon.
Preliminary reports from the Colorado State Patrol said, the person was walking outside the crosswalk and in front of traffic when they were struck by the car.
The car was heading southbound just south of I-225, according to officials. Two lanes of traffic were closed for over 2 hours on Saturday.
The driver remained on the scene. No drugs or alcohol was suspected by authorities.
Identities of the driver and the pedestrian were not released.
