DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. — A crime alert was issued in Douglas County after dozens of people in Parker and Highlands Ranch said thieves broke into and stole an alarming number of vehicles.
Since the beginning of August, at least 24 vehicles have been stolen and almost 100 broken into, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said.
One man has been arrested but police believe he hasn’t been acting alone.
