DENVER — Michelle Stewart was losing her 7-year-long battle against kidney disease.

She had no luck while on the organ donor waiting list. So, her husband Bob did an incredible thing. He said he did the only thing he could think of.

He posted a sign on his truck that said his wife needed a kidney. And then he prayed for a miracle. We first told you about Michelle in February and this story in February.

Images of Bob’s sign went viral. And a total stranger turned out to be the answer to the miracle.

His name is Mason Holland. The 22-year-old from Denver was touched by Michelle’s story and he decided to help. Because of him, she was able to get a new kidney in a procedure performed at University of Colorado Hospital.
