DENVER — A Southwest Airlines jet pushing back from a gate pushed over a catering truck Tuesday night, Denver International Airport officials said.

The truck tipped over onto its side after being hit just after 6 p.m. Gina Whitlow was on a plane next to the gate where it happened and took a photo, but she said her 7-year-old saw the incident.

As a precaution, the passengers got off the plane and were taken back to the concourse where Southwest was working to get them on another flight.

A spokeswoman for the airport said there were no injuries to anyone on the truck or the plane.
