DENVER — A suspicious package was reported at an RTD bus stop near the Auraria Campus on Tuesday afternoon, the Denver Police Department said.

Police said the package was found just after 1:30 p.m. on the northeast corner of Ninth Street and Auraria Parkway.

Authorities warned people to stay out of the area, but after officers investigated, there was no threat to the public.
