LAKEWOOD, Colo. — A 2-year-old boy who had been missing most of Thursday afternoon was found and brought back home a little after 6 p.m. Isaac Lucero was OK.

FOX31 Denver’s Mark Meredith reported a woman brought him home and that he was safe. Lakewood Police planned to interview her.

They launched a search for him in the area of West Alameda Avenue and South Newland Street. The FBI joined the investigation and investigators were starting a door-to-door search when he was brought home. Information about where the boy had been was not released.

Isaac Lucero had been missing since about 1:30 p.m. Police said he was playing outside and his mother was inside the house.

Lakewood police deployed numerous resources for the search, including a bloodhound.
