AURORA, Colo. — Several people were injured in a lightning strike in Aurora Saturday afternoon.

It happened in Del Mar Park at 12000 E. 6th Ave. just before 3 p.m.

Aurora Fire said that the lightning strike did not directly hit anyone and that the four patients being transported had minor injuries.

This comes just a day after one was killed and three more injured in a lightning strike on Mount Yale.
