DENVER — The Denver Police Department issued a Medina alert on Monday for a suspect vehicle in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a bicyclist on Sunday afternoon.

The collision happened about 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Ogden Street and East 16th Avenue, just east of downtown.

Police said they are searching for a red Chevrolet Sonic with a license plate 795-OMJ. Police added the vehicle has damage to its hood and windshield.

Police said Sunday the cyclist was in stable condition and they did not provide an update on the condition Monday.
