ARAPAHOE BASIN, Colo. — When the snow from Tuesday is added in to the 15 inches in the past three days and the 41 inches since May Day… the resort is enjoying late spring skiing in a good way.

“We are having a fantastic May … kind of makes up for the dry end of winter we had … people are happy, the snow is great,” said Alan Henceroth, Arapahoe Basin COO. “We have said we will stay open until June 7th, but with all the new snow we could stay open a few days longer.”

Final numbers on the ski season from Colorado Ski Country USA not in quite yet, but no doubt they will be good with all the late spring slope time people were able to get in. As always, A-Basin lovers are hoping snow will permit the resort to stay open until the nation celebrates a birthday—July 4th!!!
