GREELEY, Colo. — A semitrailer carrying hazardous materials rolled off a connecting ramp on Wednesday morning near Highways 85 and 34.
Crews responded to the scene about 10:25 a.m., the Greeley Fire Department said. The semitrailer was hauling pressurized liquefied petroleum gas, but crews were able to determine none of the gas leaked from the tank.
Some diesel fuel spilled onto the highway and crews put absorbent material on the liquid to keep it from flowing into other parts of the ground.
The driver of the truck was extricated by fire crews and transported to North Colorado Medical Center, Greeley fire said. His condition has not been released.
