DENVER — Two businesses in Denver have a bit of battle going on. Think of it as “dueling signs.”
It’s taking place at East Colfax Avenue and Washington Street, where there is a big billboard of Natural Grocers advertising its GMO and drug-free chickens.
The new shop on the block, Cheba Hut, seized the opportunity to poke a little fun at the billboard by putting the message “Our chickens do drugs” on its much smaller sign.
Apparently the Fort Collins-based sandwich chain is no stranger to using humor or drug references to catch the eye of potential hungry customers.
