DENVER — It can be a hectic time when school lets out. Children are everywhere, and some cars are going down the streets way too fast.

But some Denver parents are sending a very clear message to drivers in their neighborhood. They’ve put up signs that say “Drive Like Your Kids Live Here.”

Mom Sam Powell said she and her kids have had too many close calls. She bought 160 of the signs online and then sold them to her neighbors in under two weeks.

“It’s word of mouth, people calling me, leaving them on my porch, it’s been an amazing support for the signs,” Sam Powell said.

She found the signs at DriveLikeYourKidsLiveHere.com. It’s a company selling safety signs that range in price from $10-45.
