DENVER — On March 9 a very special event happened at the State Capitol.

In recognition of World Down Syndrome Day Governor Hickenlooper and the Global Down Syndrome Foundation along with adults and kids with Down syndrome gathered together on the west steps to celebrate a movement that’s gaining a lot of momentum.

To tell us more about the world Down syndrome day celebration is Fran Hickey, the medical director with SIE Center for Down syndrome.  And, Chris Seits, a person with Down syndrome.
