DENVER — RTD is temporarily shutting down three light rail stations in downtown Denver, starting this week.

The Regional Transportation District is shutting each station for about a month to replace concrete loading ramps.

The light rail station at the 16th Street Mall and Stout Street will close on Thursday, with a scheduled Oct. 7 reopening.  During the closure, the nearby 18th and Stout and Theater District/Convention Center stations will be used.

Next, the station at 16th and California will close between Oct. 8 and Nov. 6, followed by the 18th Street and Stout station from Nov. 6 to Dec. 8.
