AURORA, Colo. — Investigators are asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect responsible for the shooting death of a man that happened outside of an Aurora bar Friday night.

Sgt. Cassidee Carlson with Aurora Police said officers responded to the 700 block of N. Peoria Street just after 2 a.m on reports of an assault with a gun.

When police arrived, they found a man lying in the parking lot of the Fuego Fuego bar, suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead a few hours later, Sgt. Carlson said.

Police were looking for an early 2000s-model year gold or tan Pontiac Grand Am with tinted windows.

There is a $2,000 reward for information leading the arrest and conviction of the suspect in this case.
