JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) — The Colorado Department of Transportation says U.S. 285 is back open following a deadly crash on Sunday.
The crash was reported by the Colorado State Patrol around 7:25 p.m. near Conifer.
One person was pronounced dead. The victim’s identity will be released by the coroner’s office following notification of next of kin.
The highway was closed between Pine Valley Road and South Foxton Road until around 10:50 p.m.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
