AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) — Rolando Felipe, 18, was arrested around 10:30 p.m. Friday night in connection to a deadly shooting involving two minors.

Felipe is facing charges of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder, the Aurora Police Department said.

A 12-year-old boy died and a 14-year-old boy was severely injured, APD said.

APD responded to a shooting Friday afternoon around 2:58 p.m. on the 900 block of North Zion Street.

According to police, shots were fired from a silver Acura sedan that fled the scene immediately.

Both boys were taken to an area hospital after the shooting where the 12-year-old was pronounced dead.
