Fireworks: The fireworks show has been postponed until a later date.
Other Events: One mile footrace and 1/4 mile kids sprint with 4th of July parade to follow. These events are part of the day long Alamosa County’s 100th year anniversary celebration.

Fireworks: Fireworks will begin after 9 p.m. at Stenger Sports Fields (West 58th Avenue and Oak Street)

Other Events: The day begins at 7 a.m. with an Independence Day 10K Trail Run, at 9:30 a.m. the Firecracker 50 Mountain Bike Race, at 10 a.m. a Main Street Parade. Starting at 12:30 p.m. kids water fight on Main Street with the Red, White and Blue Fire Department. At the same time on Main Street enjoy a Viper car show. At 2 p.m. free music is provided by Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe. At 8:30 p.m. the National Repertory Orchestra will hold a patriotic concert.
