Angelica Lombardi is proud to be working in her home state of Colorado! She joined the Channel 2 team in August of 2021 as a reporter and producer for Great Day Colorado.
Angelica is an award-winning multimedia journalist who came to Channel 2 after working for TEGNA’s national entertainment show, ‘Daily Blast Live,’ for 4 years. There, she helped launch the show, produce, shoot, edit and report for digital and television platforms.
Prior to that, Angelica worked as an anchor and reporter at the ABC affiliate KRDO News Channel 13 in Colorado Springs. During her time there, she was recognized for her work reporting on breaking news and investigations.
Angelica started her news career in Casper, Wyoming working as a reporter and evening anchor for the ABC affiliate K2 News where she was nominated, “Best News Anchor,” by the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters.
Angelica is a proud Colorado native who earned her bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Colorado State University, (Go Rams)! She was born and raised in Arvada and North Denver where most of her big Italian family still lives.
When she’s not making TV magic you can find her pursuing her love for event planning, hiking and exploring local breweries with her husband and taking care of their 50+ houseplants.
