DENVER (KDVR) — The 90,000 students in the Denver Public Schools district are heading back to class Monday morning at about 200 schools.  

DPS said this is the first school year since the pandemic began that the district is starting the year off with in-person learning without a mask requirement. 

Ellis Elementary said there will be a welcome ceremony at 7:30 a.m. where the superintendent will also welcome families.
