DENVER (KDVR) — Republican candidates vying to represent Colorado in state and federal elections are outlining their policy priorities ahead of a crucial midterm election this fall.

A slate of candidates, including Heidi Ganahl who is running for governor, Joe O’Dea running for Senate opposite incumbent Michael Bennet, Eric Aadland running for the congressional seat for District 7 and Barbara Kirkmeyer running for the congressional seat in District 8 gave brief speeches outside Mile High Station in Denver Tuesday.

FOX31’s political reporter Gabrielle Franklin will be covering the event and will have more coverage during Colorado Point of View, a weekly political show which airs Sunday at 7:30 a.m. on Colorado’s Very Own Channel 2.
