DENVER — A 22-year-old Colorado woman hasn’t been seen or heard from for more than a month. Friday, her family made an emotional plea, hoping for her safe return home.
Kelsie Schelling was living in Denver but disappeared during a trip to Pueblo to meet a friend early in February.
Surveillance video captured outside a Walmart store in Pueblo show a man driving off with her car. It was later found at a hospital, but there has been no sign of the young woman.
Friday, her family asked for anyone with information to come forward and help with the investigation.
“Kelsey was always quick to lend a helping hand, and we’re asking everyone to continue lending a hand to help her too,” says Colby Schelling, Kelsie’s brother.
Police aren’t releasing any information about Schelling’s cell phone records or the surveillance video because the case is sealed.
Investigators have not commented on reports that Kelsie contacted an online modeling agency shortly before she disappeared.
