1 dead, 2 wounded in shooting near Civic Center Park

DENVER (KDVR) — UPDATE (Aug. 10, 3:49 p.m.) A man killed in a triple shooting at Civic Center Park has been identified as 28-year-old Jalen Adams.

ORIGINAL (Aug. 6) Police said three people were shot Friday night at Civic Center Park.

Denver police responded to Colfax Avenue and Broadway at 8:30 p.m. after the shooting was reported.

UPDATE: One of the three shooting victims in the area of Colfax/Broadway has been pronounced deceased. A 2nd victim is in critical condition & a 3rd victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Circumstances and suspect info remain under investigation. https://t.co/VNn4as79V3

Police said at 10:46 p.m. that one of the shooting victims died, a second is in critical condition and the third suffered non-life-threatening wounds.

They said the circumstances and suspect information remained under investigation.
