DENVER (KDVR) — Mayor Michael Hancock, Denver city councilors and Denver Public Schools leaders celebrated student-athletes who won state championships across multiple sports Wednesday.
The celebration included North High School’s girls swimming team, East High School’s girls and boys wrestling teams, Far Northeast Warriors football team and Thomas Jefferson High School’s football and boys wrestling team.
