AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) — The Aurora Police Department says a SWAT situation in Aurora has ended peacefully after a shelter-in-place was ordered.
APD said the incident started around 6 a.m. Thursday near the 1800 block of South Truckee Way.
Police said they were working to arrest an armed domestic violence suspect who refused to exit the house.
At around 9 a.m., police said the suspect surrendered peacefully. An investigation is ongoing.
